Well it turns out I suck on camera. Maybe it was all the lights in my face, the three microphones, or the three camera/crew people telling me to "over do it". "That was a 5 Mark.... gimme a 10"!
I felt like Will Ferrell in that racing movie after he wins and doesn't know how to act on camera... "I'm not sure what to do with my hands?"
I must of said the same thing 20 times... "Welcome to Liberty Bell Alarm & Home Theater... blah, blah, blah."
I hated the first cut, and the way I sounded. Eeew, cheeseball! Man, am I really that much of a tool? hahaha. I guess I'm just too mellow for Hollywood!
On the second cut, I told them to take me out of there! Put somebody nice to look at and listen to in the video!
So, they did a voice over for the welcome, inserted some of my dad's voice, and let my mom give the welcome! She's got skillz! Good job mom!
All in all, I think it turned out pretty well. If you need help with your marketing, check out Elevendy. The experience working with them was wonderful... all the way around. Except for my close-up nose hairs shot and bright lights shoved in my face! hahahaa! I'm still not sure what to do with my hands.
